IT's HOT, yada yada yada

What a wonderful weekend!!! great weather, good food, beach, volleyball...all that's missing is Matty :( Not too much longer though.. just what is it now...? 6 more days until Country Bound!!! Yay!!! Sooo excited him and Garrett are coming home for the weekend...and sooo excited to be getting back to the country.. feels like too long!
So, it's been 33 days now without smoking and I feel wonderful...best of all I'm running!! yep you heard right...well jogging you could call it lol. started slow 7mins on monday, 8 minutes on tuesday, 9 minutes on wednesday...then vb got in the way...and today I ran 13 straight minutes Whoo hoooo may not sound like much to some, but for me I'm super stoked...trying to inch my way a weeee bit more every time STOKED...some come running/jogging with me...better yet, come FISHING WITH ME!!! I have all this great fishing stuff and no one to go with now that matty's gone again... He totally hooked it up for my bday with my new fishing equipment!!! Tight babe!! THANKS AGAIN!!! and my new kick ass pink sandals made out of yoga mats awwwww...He's totally the ONE!
It's so funny, because he knew that just after what? 2-3 days....I told him.. or maybe I just thought it in my head that he was crazy!!! No way was I the one...I was totally in anti-relationship phase and putting my foot DOWN...pfffft. soo much for that!! Glad I let him in! He's the best thing EVER to happen to me...besides mom, Heidi, and Drake :)
However, this whole long distance thing is blowing..sucking...fucking sucks! I can't complain too much though...i guess.. since he's been in Arkansas, I flew out once, he came for my bday, and now I get to see him again next weekend... the best part is talking to him every single morning and night! He's something special...I feel like a royal princess because I've finally found my Knight and Shinning Armor, My Prince, MY ONE!! Thank you Matty for all you do!! Muwah..

Landing in LR

THis has been in the works for I guess a month now... thought i'd finish it since I'll be seeing Matty soon..AGAIN!

I know I know I have really freakin' sucked at blogging lately, but like I say, LIFE HAPPENS!!! Which isn't always a bad thing..between more work load, 4x/week of volleyball, back in the yoga studio, and keeping/maintaining a clean house, me, and drake...my blog has fallen to the back burner...I have hardly even had time to fb..I KNOW RIGHHT!!! geeze ANNMO..slackin.. :)

so, back to my ARKANSAS TRIP, which some days feels like forever ago, and some days it feels like yesterday.

I almost forgot how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE to fly, not as much as I love love love Matty or Volleyball, but LOVE TO FLY...it's not so bad by yourself either...that is if you like yourself!!

From Wilmington to ATL wasn't bad at all, easy...check points, security.. i didn't get felt up once...disappointed lol.. j/k.

However from ATL to Little Rock, I almost missed my flight thx to Natalie...no worries though.. a little running in the airport in new wedges is nothing.. until you get on the plane, you're the last one on, sit down, and start to sweat.. Oh geeze.. Thank God for baby wipes! As soon as we could move around I darted to the bathroom, not to pee...i don't know how people actually pee in those.. they're soooo tiny.. but I went to brush my teeth, splash water on my face, and "freshen" up ;) I wasn't about to land in Little Rock all hot and sweaty.. that was to come later...


finally seeing his face!!!!!!!!!! As I landed in AR around 745pm I was texting away.. Where are you... how do I get to you.. he said just follow everyone else....the walk felt like forever...down a long hallway, rounding the corner, up what seemed like a mountain, then as I was peaking around another corner - there he is!! :) :) :) I wouldn't have wanted it any other way...straight out of work, dirty as hell, probably smelled God awful, but it didn't matter...It was like Heaven being in his arms again...I didn't want to let go...I love that THIS is what it's suppose to be like! :)

Soooo, yeah I'm slack on the blogs.. what's new...I have been working on my 365 project of taking a pic of myself everyday since my bday...pics to come...haven't smoked a cigarette in 23 days! whoo hooo I'm doing it....Matty came to visit.. was wonderful....ummmm there's lots more ... but no time now.. happy 4/20.

It's way easier to pee like a guy while wearing a skirt with no panties...and more fun...just saying.

Campin' Made Easy :)

I survived the Natural State of Arkansas!! Thank God for my mini vaca with my honey!! Gosh, I needed that!!! Out of everything we did and saw and ate, my favorite part has to be just the two of us, in the hotel room, with his phone playing the sweetest song ever dancing or swaying..(whatever you wanna call it). It's definelty the little things in life that matter the most. All it takes sometimes is one look from him, one squeeze, or one "my baaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbby" and I'm done!

MY BABY!!! It's like I have an extra boost, almost as if I was at the spa in Costa Rica all weekend..now our countdown is super short...so short I'm not even really doing one.. I just know I get to see him and be back in his arms next Friday!!! It's the best Bday present EVER...I get Matty! :) :) :)
SCRATCH THAT...this is what I get for blogging and not finishing it the same day...Matty can't make it my bday :( but will be coming the next weekend....

So this ARKANSAS was actually a pretty nice state..the people look kinda funny, but momma says the same about me..so...the first town I was in was Morrilton..which it's claim to fame or what I'm giving it's claim to fame is 3 things: 1) Walmart with a taco bell inside and the biggest "BABY" section ever 2) John Deer 3) Drive thru Liquor Stores.............OMG there were babies and kids everywhere you looked in Arkansas. In Little Rock we were getting out of the truck and there it was.. to me the sadest thing ever.. the mom couldn't have been much older then myself...and there she is getting out of her strecth SUV with not just 1 or 2, but 4 tiny tots waddling behind her. It was like ducks on a pond following behind the momma...as they crossed the street, each grabbed a hand and tugged one by one across safely...a sight for sore eyes...I just can't imagine or picture myself or my life being consumed with 4 dirty lil mouths to feed, diapers to change, sticky hands all over my things...God Bless her. Besides, where the hell would I fit 4 kids in the bug??? I can barely fit my luggage and ME!!!

I got to do some serious Camper Camping for 2 whole nights while in AR...it reminded me of a cruise ship on land..not bad, not too bad at all! Much roomier than I had imagined, and I would definetly do it again!! Who am I kidding? I would fucking live in it with Matty...as long as I got to take showers in dad's camper or a hotel from time to time :) The first night we didnt' get in till late, so not much went down.. a lil moonshine tasting and well, you know...getting "reaqauinted" ;)
Friday morning more G'money had to work, but we all woke up early...damn my internal alarm clock...so off we went to find breakfast and adventures of Walmart in Morrilton! Not much else to do in that town...walmart and make babies...uggg. I also experienced my first meat market where I almost lost it...they had some of the strangest frozen meat in this lil corner store...chicken necks, ox tails, liver mush, chicken feet, and whole frozen bunny rabbits...2 for $4.99. OMG I was not too happy about this .... thank Goodness for the cutest chocolate milk jug ever...and the bunnies weren't chopped up meat..it was clearly a bunny - you could see the frozen floppy lil ears, and nose, and feet...Not a FAN, not a FAN!!!!!!!! After running around town all day, we got to venture down the river bank and do a little exploring!! The camp ground is right on the Arkansas River..super cool.. instead of sand, it's rocks..strange..but it's water! We went hiking, saw some dead armadilla, found these really old looking vessels, saw some eaten beaver wood..i wanted to keep going but I guess there were people duck hunting and Matty didn't want us to get shot...always looking out!! Muwah I love you Baby!

Ohhh one of the best parts of Friday was yoga on the pond!! Yep!! Well, country didn't do it this time, but he let me have my hour or so to enjoy and be one with nature on the bank of the pond and enjoy my yoga session!! He's so thoughtful, I'm one lucky girl! I think we even sqeezed in a quick nap friday too!! ohhh and I got to see where he works.. it's nice putting a place to the image in my head..he's such a great tour guide!!! Showed us all around Morrilton in less then 5.2 minutes hahahhahaa. ..

Friday night approached, so we got to prepping dinner for the guys..this was going to be the first time meeting his dad...nervous yes..so I showered, had some delicious watermelon vodka, and got to cookin...pops arrived!! Just like Matty said he would be...just as awesome as him!! Glad that's over with...my fear of meeting the family is dimishing by the second! I mean how could you not get along with someone who puts his flatscreen outside to watch UNC play with a fire going and food on the grill!! Friday in AR was a blast! :)

Arkansas here I come...

Yay! Another day closer and I'm really jumping out of my seat, clothes, and skin!!
Now, if I could only finish packing...I'm in what I call phase 2 of I don't know how many phases yet...but it's the in between yucky phase of pairing together, shorts vs dresses, jeans vs camos, and keeping it all under 40 lbs...this is why it takes me a week to pack...i get frustrated and have to walk away from it all...breath in, breath out ahhh sigh.

THIS IS REALLY HARD... packing ... do I really need 4 pair of shoes? I have been over and over this time and time again..heels for the plane to look sexy, sandals, tennis shoes, and my boots...Thank God for Jess...we have narrowed it down to 3 - no boots.. I think I can manage with just one pair of heels, sandals, and tennis shoes...I think..hopefully that will suffice for a 5 day event..yes?

Well, at least I have my pj's, workout clothes, shoes, and panties figured out...maybe I should just wear that all weekend..lol. Maybe I should just take one pair of shorts, one pair of jeans, and then like 2-3 dresses...oohhh that sounds like a plan...i need to write this down...I still haven't figured out what to wear to the concert?? What do people wear in Little Rock? Is it going to be hot at night? or cool on the river? will it rain? ugg hope not...jeans or dress? that's the question for the show...hmmmm...I'm thinking since I wore jeans last time, a dress would work...but now I have been informed that dresses and cowboy boots do not go together?!?!? WTF? Oh right, I'm not packing my boots anyways...Oh God..so my sandals are going to have to be Ultra Ultra Versatile...ugghg the pressure...I have to stop thinking about this whole packing ordeal and focus on something else for an hour or so...

Let me see? what's the count down now?? I wish I could call Matty..he has a countdown on his phone down to the second :) :) !!!! My countdown is just rounding.. 57 hours and 45 minutes!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OM GOM GOM GOMG I can't wait!!! EEEKKKEKKEKKKKKKK!!

Arkansas Count Down

                
It's gone from weeks to days to mere hours now!!! As of right now it is 82 hours until I land in the great state of Arkansas...Since this is my first time going to AR I have been googling what to do in Little Rock, besides see my favorite band American Aquarium play!!! Hmmmm how convenient they're playing the same weekend I'm going hahahehehehheh..so we decided on visiting the zoo one day!! Love it! And I found the Rocktown Distillery which sounds fun...lots of Mtns to climb and hike and some star gazing thing Friday night...the only other thing I know about the great state of AR is they have a huge BIG DAM BRIGDE and Bill Clinton's was born there...I wonder what the state motto is...hold on let me google this ..hahah this is a funny one "the people rule"! I like it!!!
Other interesting facts I have learned about AR:

*Name for residents - Arkansans
*Major industries - agriculture (chickens, soybeans, rice, cotten), paper & wood products, electronic equipment, mining (aluminum & diamonds).
*Bordering states include - Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas..dang.
*State Nickname - The Natural State
*State Bird - Mockingbird
*State Tree - Pine Tree
*state Beverage - Milk
*State Instrument - Fiddle
*AR is the only state in the USA where diamonds have been found!

Now, here are some strange laws in AR I came across:

*It is illegal for a person to sound the horn on a vehicle at any place where cold drinks or sandwiches are served after 9:00 P.M. 
*My favorite law is one designed to get Northerners into trouble. That's right folks, if you mispronounce Arkansas (Ar-kan-saw) you're in for a fine or jail time. 
*In Little Rock, flirtation between men and women on the streets may result in a 30-day jail term. 
*Oral sex is considered sodomy in Arkansas and is punishable.
*Animals in Arkansas get the weirdest laws. If you live in Arkansas, you may not keep an alligator in your bathtub. I guess lawmakers saw the move Alligator once too often.
*Dog owners in Little Rock beware! If your dog barks after 6 PM you can be fined. The dog can be impounded.
*Cow owners should take heed too. Bessie may need her exercise but even cows deserve Sunday's off. It's unlawful to walk your cow after 1:00 on Sundays.
*There is a law that states female teachers who bob their hair cannot be given a raise. *Even more degrading is an old law that states a man can beat his wife in Little Rock provided he does it with a stick no bigger than 3 inches across and not more than once a month.
                            
This is one of the only maps I found with Morrilton on it.. that's where I'll be the first night or two.. then back to Little Rock. I'm so excited to see a different state and more importantly visit my boyfriend!! YAY! I will take lots of pics don't worry. And will blog religiously before I go and when I return..enjoy the countdown! OMG OMG OMG I'm too excited to think or work eeeekkkk.

I now remember...

I now remember why I started my sabbatical from drinking...I enjoy waking up early and not feeling like I was run over by a mac truck with chicken lights and chrome. Oh boy! And as my age increases it seems to be taking longer to recuperate from a night out with the kids. I didn't move from the couch all day yesterday except to finish a few chores before HB returned home..and to cook some food...i basically was a beach bum this weekend...every now and then I guess is ok, but I couldn't do it every weekend.. I feel like there's is too much to get accomplished then just laying around...

The weekend was a blast though!! Amber and Nat!! So awesome to see you and show ya'll a bit of EI!!! Although we didn't make it to the Eclub, we did manage quite a bit...beach day, Mexican food/margarita's, fires, Wii Dancing, Paddy's...bike rides...it was a great weekend!! If it wasn't for my scorching sunburn on my back and rear, I'd be great this morning..it looks like I have a white bathing suit on...uggg I am smarting then this...why oh why did we not use sunscreen...oh right, because I wanted to get nice and tan before Arkansas..idoit..

...oh and back on my sabbatical too...ugggg..I've realized yes I like my vodka and jack, but if I had to choose It would be a nice small glass of wine...yep the age factor is kicking in...oh well. I'm ok with it. I'd rather get up with the sun and go yoga on the beach then sleep till 1130 which is exactly what happened this weekend...oh well.. back to my regular routine this week!! Well that is until Thursday when I'll be jet setting to Arkansas to see Matty and G'money and Nat again!!! Hoping to run into her at the airport in Atlanta!! :)

ALL and all great weekend, got to kick it with the EI homies and dance my ass off!! But nothings going to make me as happy as it will when I see Matty at the airport Thursday night :) Muwah.
